Monsieur Zèbre in Dub is a dub-stepper project composed between France and Peru by Thibault Quinon. After several years composing in other kinds of electronic music, Mr Zèbre completely turns toward Dub after a production workshop with Mad Professor.
Mainly electronic, his project is including acoustic instruments and voices from several countries: Peru (Rebel I, Angel Aguilar, Noet/Achkirik), Great Britain (Melanie Jane).
Mr Zèbre is an original combination designed for a live act show realized as a multitracks’ remix of his own production, combined with live music (bass, sax, trumpet, MC).
The first album’s launch is planned to be in a virtual form since December 2011. A LP vinyl would be ready in May 2012, produced by La Gare Expérimentale (Paris).
Recently Mr Zèbre has share the stage with Rootz Hifi, Iration Steppas, DJ Rastacore.
