A night of roots reggae and dubwize music selected by some of Bristol's finest on a 3 tune rotation (as proved to work very well at a freshly baked session in farm pub)

Hosted by Ras Daniel Dobunni

Sound provided by the original heavyweight sound system created owned & run by dub Dave aka Dave Dunn for those who know him - this is the sound system used recently for the dub surround event at the Croft in Bristol.

the event will be filmed by South Blessed

streamed live on Ustream for those to watch in from locations too far afield to reach the event.

Pour sa dernière soirée à la MAC, Roots Workers est fier d' inviter Salomon Heritage de Montpellier.

Roots Workers joue dans la tradition des Sound Systems jamaïcains et anglais des sélections qui vont du Reggae roots des années 70 aux productions Dub les plus récentes. Ils viendront avec leur sono artisanale de 4,5KW pour leur dernière soirée à Bordeaux.

Grâce à son travail photographique, Perrine Sistalovia parvient à retranscrire ce qui fait la scène Sound System : du travail des artistes à l'ambiance des soirées en passant par une présentation du matériel de sonorisation utilisé.

Venu d’Afrique du Sud, RAS DUMISANI est un maître de la composition Roots Reggae. C’est là-bas, au Kwazulu Natal que dès son plus jeune âge, il chante dans les fameuses chorales des églises sud-africaines, puis dans des groupes de jazz en tant que chanteur, mais aussi percussionniste, instrument qu’il maîtrise fort bien. Son dernier album, «Motherland» vient rejoindre une discographie riche d’une vingtaine d’albums. Tous, sans exception, reflètent une œuvre musicale de haute qualité, poétiquement rebelle, identifiable par ce timbre de voix si naturel. Il sera accompagné de son groupe le Afrikhaya Band
